Dr Chirali Patel

I graduated with honours from Cardiff University in 2013, where I met my husband and fellow dentist, Bhavin Patel. We shared a passion for genuinely caring for people and creating positive dental experiences, which continues to shape the way we practise today.

After completing my foundation training in Nottingham, I completed my MFDS qualification with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I then worked in community dentistry, helping anxious patients and individuals with autism and additional needs feel more comfortable and supported during treatment. Following this, I spent 18 months working in a maxillofacial department, gaining experience in complex extractions, oral surgery, infections and assisting in cancer care.

I then went on to become the lead dentist within a general private practice in North Wales before moving to Australia in 2017. While in Australia, I practised a more holistic approach to dentistry, combining patient-centred care with modern digital technologies, including scanners and 3D printing. We returned to the UK just before COVID-19, where I continued working across NHS and private practice.

I have completed a Restorative Diploma with ACE and further studies in Sleep Dental Medicine. I am passionate about prevention, patient education and helping every dental visit feel calm, comfortable and empowering.

Outside of dentistry, my life is happily taken over by my children, who I absolutely adore and who keep me very busy. I also enjoy keeping active when I can by going to the gym, and I am currently learning to play the classical Indian drum, the Tabla.
